Chinook Lodge started welcoming guests
in the early 1900's when people would ride the train up from
Alamosa to go fishing and then stay at the lodge. It is a beautiful
piece of
property
with nine cabins that are nestled in amongst fifty year old Blue
Spruce trees. We offer one and two bedroom cabins that sleep 3-8 people.
Most of our
cabins are equipped with kitchen, fireplace, refrigerator,
and microwave and all of our cabins are appointed with antiques
or rustic log furniture.
We also
offer an RV park that has space for 21 RV's. Each site has
hookups with 30/50 amp service and is oversized so that they can handle
any
big rig! There is a shower house and laundry facility for our
guests as well as a Jacuzzi for relaxing after a day of hiking or
skiing.
South
Fork offers the best of both worlds with something for everyone. Great
for family reunions, weekend getaways, summer vacations or relaxing
retreats.
Clayton & Kristy

activity and look forward to welcoming you and your family to their
accommodations at Chinook Lodge.
